Greater East Syracuse Day Care Center

The Greater East Syracuse Day Care Center (GESDCC) is affiliated with and operates within the Eastwood Baptist Church Education Building. It is however a separately incorporated non-profit organization with it's own Board of Directors. Church members along with Day Care Parents and Community members are on the Board of Directors. It is a well managed and operated facility for children of working parents.

In addition to the Day Care Facilities located at the Eastwood Baptist Church on James St, GESDCC also oversees the operation of the "Little Apples Day Care Center", a facility for children of teachers of the Syracuse City School District. This facility is operated under contract with the City School district at the Van Duyn Elementary School on Loomis Ave on the south side of the City. At Little Apples up to 44 children are cared for daily during the school system's schedules (September through June every year).
